Psychotherapy for Adults

Getting to what’s underneath the things that aren’t working

What Brings People In

People start therapy for different reasons. Sometimes it’s a clear disruption — a relationship ending, a loss, a moment where everything stops making sense. More often, it’s something quieter: a growing distance between how your life looks and how it actually feels, or habits you keep falling back into even though you know they cost you. You don’t need to be in crisis. Noticing that something keeps repeating is reason enough.

How We Work

The goal is not just symptom relief. We work to understand the logic behind your patterns — the early conclusions you drew about yourself and others, and how those conclusions still organize your choices and reactions today. Medication can help stabilize symptoms, and we support that when it makes sense, but it doesn’t reach the deeper structure. That’s what therapy is for.
